I’m Aniya, the voice behind this blog, dedicated to curating an elevated digital fashion experience that inspires and celebrates individuality, with a special focus on Black expression within the fashion creative space. The name Almeda was inspired by one of my favorite songs named, Almeda by Solange Knowles that pays homage to African-American culture.
I attended Kent State University, where I studied Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Media. Fashion has always been more than just clothes to me; it’s a powerful form of self-expression, a way to communicate our unique stories, cultures, and identities. This blog is my canvas, a place where I blend my love for style, artistry, and the vibrant tapestry of Black culture to bring you content that is both inspiring and empowering.
